Press Release
Re: Fraudulent Fiona Staples Sketches

In light of the recent news regarding the fake Fiona Staples sketches and accompanying “Certificates of Authenticity”, Alpha Comics would like to make clear that, we did not issue any certificates for this signing, and as of the above mentioned date (February 7th, 2013), we have never offered any form of authentication document for any of the creator autograph sessions featured in the store. At this time, there are no plans of offering a Certificate of Authenticity for any future signings at the store. Should these plans change, we will make all possible efforts to provide a reliable document that the comic book fans can trust.
At Alpha Comics, we believe in maintaining an honest relationship with all of our customers, and though this was an unfortunate situation beyond our control, we would like to apologize to anyone that may have felt mislead by these criminals under the guise of Alpha Comics.

Thank You

Christopher Humphries – Owner
